Blankets bound for Monkh Khairkhan
May 20th, 2013
Just two days after our containers arrived in Mongolia, we are able to hand over blankets to representatives from the school at Monkh Khairkhan, a village in the far Western province of Khovd. The village is difficult to get to, windswept and subject to extreme weather. The representatives just happened to be in UB, so we were very pleased to hand over these donations today. The school kids get their donations sooner rather than later, and we do not have to transport them all that way. Monkh Khairkhan soum sits in the foothills below the 2nd highest mountain in Mongolia. Monkhtuya stands between the two school reps in the top photo.
