MongoliAid team in the Great Wheelbarrow Race

Most folks from FNQ know about or have heard about the Great Wheelbarrow Race held annually between Mareeba and Chillagoe. This year the race took place between 15 and 17 May. The race doubles as a fund-raising event and as a study on the dynamics of team-work, strategy and end-of-the-day beverage imbibement. Team Captain Bec Newlands lead the crew across 140km of barrow-pushing goodness, raising nearly $2000 for MongoliAid in the process. Thank you Bec and your team of champions for your amazing effort!
