We met students from the Mazaalai Club at Shinejinst school, we delivered blankets to Shinejinst kindergarten and we also delivered blankets to Shinejinst hospital.

We delivered blankets – made in Mongolia from camel wool and yak down – to the school dormitory at Shinejinst soum in Bayankhongor province.

MongoliAid financed an expedition to deliver supplemental food to Gobi bears in the Great Gobi Strictly Protected Area. During that time we learned more about the “mazaalai” from the world’s leading expert on Gobi bears, Dr Harry Reynolds.

The official ascent of Walsh’s Pyramid for Gobi bear conservation occurred earlier today (Saturday 11/06/16). Thank you to everyone who took the time and made the effort to help save the rarest bear in the world! You can continue to climb for bears until 30 June.
