Andrea Stark climbs Mount Bartle Frere … a ‘peak’ behind the scenes
On Tuesday, 21 September, 2010 MongoliAider Andrea Stark, accompanied only by her mountain guide husband Ed, overcame miserable weather and difficult terrain (not to forget the many leeches who tagged along) to complete her successful ascent of Queensland’s highest mountain, Mt Bartle Frere, near Babinda. Notwithstanding spills and past ills, her will was too strong and she raised over $2000 for MongoliAid International. Here are some pictures you must see!

As a tribute to my late father who was a member of Mount Pleasant Lodge in Brisbane, the members last Saturday night presented my mother and sister with a cheque for $2000 for MongoliAid. A special thank you to Stuart A. Mitchell and to the other members who were great friends with dad.
