MongoliAid trip to Mongolia 2011
Five members of MongoliAid travelled to Mongolia in August and September 2011 and oversaw the delivery of 5065 blankets to school dormitories and hospitals across the provinces of South Gobi and Bayankhongor.
We also inspected our water projects at Tsogt Tsetsii, Bayangovi and Batsumber. The Tsogt Tsetsii project will supply 12 500 people with clean water before the end of the month we hope, while the Bayangovi project could be finished before the end of the year also. Batsumber has been available to the Mongolian Scout Association and local residents for over a year. We are proud to support these communities and are looking forward to collaborating on future water projects in the Gobi region.
MongoliAid also delivered crutches to the Ulaan Baatar chapter of the Mongolian Red Cross, and medical journals and books to the Mongolian University of Medicine.
