MongoliAid funds 2 new waterholes for Gobi bears and others!
This week MongoliAid received word that our two new borehole infrastructure projects deep in the middle of the Great Gobi Park, were completed and set to commence. Powered by solar energy and set to timing devices, these water troughs will provide clean water to Gobi bears around the clock for years to come! Congratulations to the Park Authority and thank you to the MAMA NGO in Mongolia, for both working together with MongoliAid to give life to these sites and to the animals that will use them in the future.

MongoliAid to fund new Gobi water projects with Mongolian partners!
MongoliAid has today set in motion a unique collaborative effort with the Great Gobi A Park Authority and the MAMA NGO, to fund the delivery and installation of new water pumps, solar panels and drinking troughs at 2 remote but strategic sites within the Great Gobi Park. These sites will directly benefit the extremely rare Gobi bear and other endangered Mongolian desert-dwelling wildlife, as they move across the barren landscape in search of food and company.

We are very happy to announce that today we sent funds to secure the distribution of supplemental food for Gobi bears next month. This will be a technically challenging distribution given the state of the pandemic in the Mongolian capital at the present time, but our partner NGO is making it happen!
